The Lakewood Historical Society is hosting the 5th Biannual Historic Preservation Symposium along with the Jefferson County Historical Commission and the City of Lakewood on May 17th, 2008. The purpose of the symposium is to bring together groups located in Jefferson County that have a common interest in preservation.
The symposium will feature presenters from various organizations who will discuss preservation issues. Included are representatives from Lakewood Heritage Center, Isaac Solomon Synagogue, Ken Caryl Historical Society, Beer's Sisters House, and Dinosaur Ridge. Lunch is available for $11.50, and will include a roundtable discussion. The Symposium will culminate with a tour of Belmar Park, a 20th Century Museum.
